I have been so anxious to blog this beautiful Milford wedding from Labour Day weekend of last year! Tina and James were married on a family property in Milford, Ontario. I love photographing Prince Edward County weddings, and this one was no exception!
Details, details, details! These details were on point! It’s amazing how much work goes into DIY weddings, and everything came together perfectly. From the centrepieces, to the wine and cheese spread, to the custom made arch and the gorgeous dessert table – everything was created with such love and care for this amazing couple.
The ceremony was in nestled in the forest with the most perfect evergreen background. I always love working with Dawn from Kettle Creek Weddings, because she adds so much joy and personalization to the ceremonies that she officiates. My favourite moment of the ceremony was at the end, when the guests started throwing bird seed at the bride and groom. Let’s just say they had a different idea of what that would look like, and I love the candids that I captured at this time!
The reception was in a wonderfully decorated tent and guests had time to mingle and use the photo booth before enjoying a superb dinner and dancing the night away. Of course, we snuck out for one of my signature ‘closing shots’ and took advantage of the moon and the colourful sky.
Thank you Tina and James for having me capture your wedding day. It was a dream wedding for me to photograph – laid back, nature-inspired, beautiful details and wonderful people!
