Meadowvale Conservation Area

This was my first time photographing a Mississauga adventure session! I had a blast looking for the perfect location. There are a lot of options for adventure in the GTA, but Meadowvale Conservation Area was a great fit! In the Credit Valley Area, Meadowvale Conservation Area follows the Credit River through lush greenery and a field filled with wildflowers. If hiking at Meadowvale Conservation Area, you’ll be walking the Culham Trail, which can take around 2 to 3 hours in its entirety. There are a few bridges along the way that take you over the river.

Maryna and Erik’s Mississauga Adventure Session

Maryna and I were friends from high school, so I was super excited when she reached out to me! She wanted to surprise Erik with an adventurous anniversary photo shoot for their 5 year wedding anniversary. We scheduled the shoot for the day of their anniversary. The weather was sort of a mess, but, I am up for an adventure rain or shine, so away we went! And a fun bonus, Erik was definitely surprised!

They are a fun-loving, active couple who were up for absolutely anything. There was some rain throughout the session, but that definitely didn’t dampen their spirits! I loved re-connecting with Maryna and adventuring around Meadowvale Conservation Area with her and Erik. We talked about their meeting in university, life with their beautiful daughter, and about a secret yacht party they were thinking of attending that night!

You’ll probably notice a unique detail in one of the photographs – instead of wedding rings, Maryna and Eric each got ring tattoos. Their unique take on this tradition was written about in an article on the Elle magazine website. I think these Mississauga adventure session images show a great combination of their romantic and energetic personalities!
