Presqu’ile Adventure Engagement » Stephanie and Corey
This Presqu’ile adventure engagement features Stephanie and Corey, a wonderful couple that I met at Danielle and Graeme’s wedding back in 2015. I love when current clients have connections to previous clients! Stephanie and Corey have a strong tie to the Brighton area, so when they were visiting from their current home out west, we used Presqu’ile as our adventure engagement backdrop. When choosing a spot for an adventurous engagement, most couples want to strike a balance between choosing somewhere that is meaningful, and choosing somewhere that is fun to explore. We were fortunate that Presqu’ile checked both boxes for us!
Our engagement session took place in early March, so there was a combo of snow and ice still on the ground. Stephanie and Corey were fearless and open to trying anything! Poor Corey ended up getting soaked when his foot broke through the ice, but he didn’t let that dampen his spirits. This session had exciting challenges for me, because it is not often in this area that you are photographing against a large reflective area, but that’s one of the parts about the session I enjoyed the most. I loved the remnants of the ice formations on the beach against the setting sun, and we used the beach for some really fun and playful images.
It was great spending time with Stephanie and Corey at Presqu’ile and I can’t wait for their July wedding!
