Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum Wedding » Toria and Ryan
This Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum wedding was definitely the quickest turn-around for a wedding booking that I’ve ever had! Toria and Ryan executed this wedding flawlessly in such a short period of time and I am so happy that they asked me to capture it!
Backstory: back in my musician days, I was in an amazing orchestra called TYWO – the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra. In 2006 we were the first Canadian youth orchestra to play the main stage of Carnegie Hall, and Toria was in the orchestra with me! All of us in the orchestra that year have a lasting connection – it was easily one of the best experiences of our lives. Well, I guess she fell in love with New York or something because she ended up working for etsy there! Fast forward to now and she wanted to get married close to her hometown back in Ontario.
Toria and Ryan got ready together at their apartment in Toronto and selected the gorgeous Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum as the location for their intimate Ontario wedding. Taking place in late October, the museum was the perfect location for an outdoor wedding ceremony. After a quick ceremony and lovely readings by the parents of the bride and groom, we took advantage of the gorgeous historical buildings.A bonus fun fact – two of their wedding images scored in the top 20% of the shoot and share contest! The schoolhouse is just stunning and I was immediately drawn in by the light as soon as I walked into the space. If you love history and the outdoors, a Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum wedding is one of the best options in Ontario! There are gorgeous trails, large trees and gorgeous architecture to enjoy. It is easily one of the most picturesque spots for wedding photographs in the Toronto area!
My favourite detail of the wedding? Easily Toria’s wedding dress! I had not seen her in quite a number of years, and as soon as I saw her come out of the limo, I immediately thought “that’s Toria!” It suit her so perfectly, and I have never seen anything like it!
The intimate wedding reception was held at Villa Risi Ristorante in Newmarket. The reserved section of the restaurant was decorated beautifully with pinks and golds. There were games instead of dancing and beautiful speeches. It was the perfect end to this lovely intimate wedding!
Killer intimate Ontario wedding. The bride and groom looked super into each other. Keep hammering. Cheers.
