Since it’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog, I thought this Waring House wedding from last June would be the perfect start for getting back into the swing of things! When Sharon booked me as her wedding photographer, we had just met through my other line of work(teaching). As time went on, Sharon became one of my very best friends, which made me incredibly nervous to photograph her wedding! But really, I had nothing to be nervous about. Sharon and Peter are an adorable couple who had a gorgeous wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. They got ready on site, which made it easy for me to hop back and forth to catch the action of both of them getting ready. The ceremony was under the gazebo (something I highly recommend for any couple getting married at the Waring House), and was filled with laughter, sincerity and tears. For photographs, we tried our best to avoid the bugs, and also managed to sneak out at sunset and at night to add some variety to their images. I am so honoured that I was able to photograph these wonderful people and I look forward to a lifetime of friendship with these two!
