Albert College Wedding » Ryan and Emily
This Albert College wedding is yet another blog post that is long overdue! Ryan and Emily are full of style and vision, and it showed with all of the handmade elements throughout the wedding day.
All of the details were carefully planned out, from the beautiful hair piece Emily wore, to the flowers that her mother lovingly arranged, to the beautiful hand-calligraphy and the gorgeous “naked” wedding cake made by a good friend. The wedding was planned with a 20s wedding theme, and elements like the jazz trio and the Paper Moon photo booth helped bring it to life!
Most memorable moments? First of all, the heat! Albert College is a perfect vision of 1920 architecture and a true gem of Belleville, but man does it get hot in the summer! But the heat did not get Ryan and Emily, or the guests down! The Courtyard made for a beautiful spot for photographs and had a lovely breeze. Other memorable moments include Emily’s excitement upon putting on her dress (there had been some alteration drama), Ryan’s overflow of emotions leading up to and during to the wedding ceremony, adorable ring bearers, a grand bagpipe entrance and lovely first dances surrounded by guests with the stunning paper moon backdrop.
Ryan and Emily are dear friends of mine and it was such an honour to be there to capture their Albert College wedding. Also, if anyone needs a large moon, Ryan might be able to hook you up!
