Sager Conservation Area » Gabe and Rupert
Sager Conservation Area has been a favourite spot of Gabe’s from when she used to live in the area. It’s a gorgeous spot close to Stirling that has one of the highest lookout points on top of a drumlin. (I also received a bit of a lesson from Gabe about what a drumlin actually is!). It is amazing to me that Gabe and Rupert live in beautiful BC, but chose Stirling as the spot for their wedding this year! I’m always in awe of the beauty right around the corner here in Ontario, and this session was no different. The trail at Sager Conservation Area is short, but packs a lot! We spent a beautiful spring evening hiking through the forest, dancing on the country road and climbing up the hill. We even saw a porcupine! I learned a lot about their life in B.C. with their pup, and we talked about their love for their work and love of the outdoors. We finished off the session back at the lookout tower, watching the sunset. To maximize the romance, they danced to one of their favourite songs. I love when couples include their own personal touches during sessions! And yes, the romance was definitely maximized! I can’t wait for their wedding this spring!
